Our Foundation and Growth Journey
Hi-Paş began its journey in 1979, when Hasan Hüseyin Akgöz opened a 150 m² workshop in Eminönü, Istanbul. The company’s first product was a plastic drawer box developed to meet the everyday storage and organization needs of businesses.
As more customers experienced the practical benefits of these products, demand grew. We invested in new machinery, increased our production capacity and gradually expanded our range. When the original workshop could no longer accommodate this growth, we moved production to a larger facility in Bayrampaşa and added plastic storage bins to our portfolio.
1995 -The Establishment of Hi-Paş
Hi-Paş was formally established in 1995, giving our family business a more structured corporate identity. “Strength through unity” became a guiding principle, supported by hard work, integrity and a shared desire to contribute to Turkish industry.
Our operations in the İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone grew from 2,500 m² to 7,000 m². With 17 injection moulding machines of different capacities, we expanded our production to include plastic drawer boxes, storage bins, transport and stacking crates, toolboxes and metal industrial products.
We also established our own R&D department and an in-house mould manufacturing unit equipped with CNC machinery. This allowed us to develop new products more quickly and respond to changing customer requirements with greater flexibility.
2015 and 2017 - Expanding Our Manufacturing Capabilities
In 2015, we opened a 7,000 m² facility in the Istanbul Tuzla Chemical Industrial Zone. The additional production and warehouse space strengthened our stock availability and enabled us to provide faster deliveries.
Two years later, we opened a 7,500 m² factory in Arnavutköy, Istanbul. During this period, we added plastic industrial and food crates, custom corrugated PP boxes and textile separator systems for the automotive and white goods industries to our portfolio.
New injection moulding machines, plastic moulds and CNC laser-cutting equipment further improved our manufacturing capabilities. We also placed greater focus on export markets and specialized industrial packaging solutions that had limited availability from domestic manufacturers.
2019 - Bringing Production Under One Roof
In the first quarter of 2019, we brought our manufacturing operations together at a 25,000 m² facility in Silivri, Istanbul.
Operating from a single location helped us use energy and resources more efficiently, coordinate production more effectively and improve both product quality and variety. The facility also provided our employees with a safer, more modern working environment and strengthened our ability to serve international customers.
2026 - Our Karasu Manufacturing Facility
Today, we continue our manufacturing activities at our 10,500 m² factory in the Karasu Organized Industrial Zone in Sakarya. Our production facility is supported by our head office in Başakşehir, Istanbul, and our Bursa branch.
The Karasu facility enables us to manage production more efficiently, respond to customer requirements more quickly and build a stronger foundation for future growth.
Industries and Global Reach
We serve a wide range of industries, including automotive, food, textiles, agriculture, logistics, electronics, defence and white goods. Our products reach customers in more than 50 countries, allowing us to work with different operational requirements and market expectations.
By participating in national and international trade fairs, we meet customers, business partners and industry professionals from different markets. These events also help us follow industry developments, understand emerging needs and introduce our solutions to new customers.
Looking Ahead
What began in a small workshop in 1979 has grown into a company with broad manufacturing capabilities and an extensive product portfolio.
We continue to follow the changing needs of industry and develop practical, durable and reliable products through our in-house R&D and mould manufacturing capabilities. Occupational safety, employee well-being, product quality, reliability and responsible growth remain central to the way we work.
